Marcus Sterling is a 70-year-old multidisciplinary artist based in Pescadero, California. Mentored by luminaries James Turrell, Ansel Adams, and Gary Snyder, his work weaves together photography, poetry, and light design. Recently widowed after 40 years with his beloved Suzanne, Marcus now channels his grief into art that celebrates the enduring beauty and wisdom of the natural world.
